Almost 50 Years of Montessori Excellence

Ventura Montessori School was founded in 1969. We started out as a small school, founded by a group of parents who sought an alternative to mainstream education. We have continued for more than 40 years in that same spirit as a private, non-profit, co-operative school. Since our inception, we have followed the method set forth by Dr. Maria Montessori. As the trusted leaders for Montessori education in the Ventura area we take our responsibilities as educators seriously and practice them with great joy each and every day.
